Indicative service life under normal industrial conditions and correct installation: Standard 2 years; Premium 3–4 years. Actual life depends on temperature, UV exposure, chemicals and mechanical stress. These figures are references, not a warranty period.
Terms and Installation Notes
- UL yellow card material and product recognition: The UL series uses UL yellow card nylon material. The finished cable glands are also UL Recognized components for the applicable models. Contact us for the UL file number and model-specific recognition details.
- Standard IP55 / IP68: Standard nylon is IP55 without a flat gasket and IP68 with the specified flat gasket and correct installation. BSP includes the locknut and flat gasket. IP68 test conditions are 5 bar for 30 minutes; check the report coverage and installation requirements for the chosen model.
How to Choose a Series
- Standard: For general industrial projects where unit cost is a priority. Specify the required sealing configuration with your enquiry.
- Premium: For projects seeking upgraded nylon material with a locknut, NBR sealing insert and NBR flat gasket supplied together. For outdoor use, confirm the selected model and exposure conditions.
- UL: For projects that specify UL Recognized components. Confirm recognition coverage for the exact model before ordering.
