Standard nylon cable glands provide IP55 protection without a flat gasket, or IP68 with the specified flat gasket, sealing insert and correct installation. Premium uses upgraded materials for better mechanical performance and longer service life under comparable conditions, and includes a flat gasket as standard.
BSP/G versions are available for matching parallel-thread enclosure entries. Confirm the nominal thread size, cable range and sealing components against the drawing.

Match the thread to the enclosure specification or approved drawing. Confirm the thread standard, size and pitch rather than selecting by destination country alone. Metric, PG, NPT and BSP/G threads are not interchangeable.
If the existing thread is unknown, provide its measurements and photographs for checking. The thread outside diameter alone is not sufficient to identify every thread type. See the thread selection guide.

The body is PA66 nylon. Confirm the required material grade and UL 94 flammability classification with your quotation. Material flammability classification does not mean that the complete cable gland is UL Recognized.
For outdoor or chemical exposure, specify the temperature, sunlight exposure and chemicals involved so that model suitability can be checked.
Measure the cable outside diameter and select a model whose clamping range covers it. Check the enclosure entry and specify the appropriate flat gasket for IP68. Without the gasket, protection is IP55. Follow the selected model’s installation instructions and avoid over-tightening.
For Premium, the flat gasket is included as standard. UL Recognized nylon is a separate model-specific range made with a Yellow Card nylon material grade.
