G-Thread Nylon Cable Glands
CHSO G-thread nylon cable glands secure round cables at electrical enclosure entries. This series uses a PA66 body, NBR sealing components and G (BSPP) parallel threads, with the sizes and cable ranges listed below.
Select both the enclosure thread size and the actual cable outside diameter. Check the available thread length against the enclosure wall thickness and mounting arrangement before ordering.
IP68 Protection and Supplied Components
Each gland is supplied with NBR sealing components and a locknut. Without a flat gasket the protection is IP55. Specify the appropriate flat gasket for IP68 installation, with a cable within the specified clamping range. Correct sealing at both the cable and enclosure entry is required.

G sizes are nominal thread designations. Cable range refers to the actual cable outside diameter. All dimensions are in mm. For critical fit requirements, request the drawing for the selected size before ordering.

G Thread Selection and Installation
G (BSPP) is a parallel thread designation. Match it to the thread specified for the enclosure entry; a similar nominal size does not establish compatibility with NPT or tapered BSP threads.
IP68 protection requires correct sealing at the cable and enclosure entry. Without a flat gasket, protection is IP55. For IP68, specify and fit the appropriate flat sealing washer against a suitable enclosure surface. Use the supplied locknut where required by the mounting arrangement. Check that the sealing surface is clean and flat, the cable is within the clamping range and the gland is installed securely. See our thread standards and installation guide for guidance.

Use these glands for cable entries in electrical enclosures, junction boxes and control panels with a matching G-thread entry. Selection for outdoor or demanding environments also requires checking the material, temperature and installation conditions.
