UL Recognized Nylon Cable Glands: Model Data
CHSO supplies UL Recognized PA66 nylon cable glands made with a UL Recognized nylon material grade (Yellow Card). Supplied locknuts, high-quality NBR sealing inserts and NBR flat gaskets support IP68 protection when correctly installed. Product Recognition applies to the covered models and specified conditions of use; request the applicable records for your selected model.
- Body material: PA66 nylon made with a UL Recognized material grade (Yellow Card).
- Supplied components: Cable gland, locknut, high-quality NBR sealing insert and NBR flat gasket.
- Protection: IP68 with the supplied sealing components and correct installation.
- UL status: UL Recognized Component; not UL Listed. Coverage is model-specific.
- Model series: BSP, FM, G, M, MG, NPT and PG; confirm the covered model before ordering.
- UL records: Verifiable file number, certificate holder and covered models available on request.
Choose Your Cable Gland Size
The chart covers PG7–PG48 and M12–M63 models. Sizes with the same thread can have different cable ranges: PG7S accepts 3–6.5 mm cable, while PG7 accepts 4–8 mm. Select using the cable’s actual outside diameter.
For other model families, request the matching size chart and drawing. Check the enclosure thread, wall thickness and available mounting space before ordering. Thread outside diameter is not a panel cutout specification.

- Cable fit: Give the cable outside diameter, including its jacket. Confirm it falls within the selected model’s clamping range.
- Enclosure fit: Give the thread specification and wall thickness. For an unthreaded opening, confirm the hole size and space needed for a locknut.
- Installation: Confirm the supplied sealing parts, mounting arrangement and tightening instructions for the model.
- Order details: List each model, colour and quantity, plus the target market and required documents.
