CHSO supplies PG and Metric multi-hole cable glands for routing several cables through one enclosure entry. The insert must match the number and outside diameter of the cables. These multi-hole products are not supplied as UL Recognized Component products.
Choose the insert around your cables
Provide the outside diameter of each cable and the number of cables passing through the gland. Small gland sizes can accommodate two holes, with three or more holes available as the gland size increases. Hole count and dimensions must be confirmed for the selected model.
If a hole will be unused, specify a matching rubber plug when ordering. Do not leave an unused hole open where sealing is required.
Confirm the enclosure entry thread
Choose PG or Metric to match the enclosure entry. A similar thread diameter does not make these thread standards interchangeable. For an unthreaded panel opening, confirm the opening size, panel thickness and locknut requirements.
Check the sealing configuration
Sealing depends on the insert fit, cable outside diameters, enclosure interface and correct installation. Confirm the required protection rating and test documentation for the actual configuration before ordering. A rating for a different insert or single-hole gland should not be assumed to cover a multi-hole assembly.
UL status: separate product series
CHSO offers a separate UL Recognized Component nylon cable gland series. Recognition applies only to covered models and conditions. It does not extend automatically to multi-hole or flat-hole configurations. If your project requires UL recognition, request verification of the exact model and configuration before selection.
