Metric Nylon Cable Glands | M12–M114
Standard Metric nylon cable glands for control panels, equipment housings and junction boxes. Select the thread size and cable range from the tables below.
- Material: Nylon body with rubber sealing insert.
- Thread sizes: M12–M63 with 1.5 mm pitch; M72, M75, M80, M88, M90, M100 and M114 with 2 mm pitch.
- Cable range: See the range for each size and configuration in the tables below.
- Protection: IP55 without a flat gasket; IP68 with the specified flat sealing washer and correct installation.
- Flat sealing washer: Not included as standard. Please specify if required.
- Documents: Product drawings, CE documentation and RoHS reports are available on request.
Sealing Options for Standard Metric Glands
The flat sealing washer (flat gasket) seals the gland-to-enclosure interface and is an optional item for this standard series. Specify it when requesting IP68. The rubber insert seals around the cable; choose the cable range using the actual cable outside diameter, not the conductor cross-section.

Use this range when specifying cable entries for control panels, equipment housings and junction boxes. For outdoor, wet or chemically exposed locations, provide the temperature range and details of exposure to water, sunlight, oils or chemicals. These conditions affect material and sealing selection; a matching Metric thread alone does not establish suitability.

Check the Enclosure Before Ordering
- Threaded entry: Verify both the Metric thread diameter and pitch.
- Unthreaded entry: Check the finished hole diameter and specify the locknut needed to secure the gland.
- Panel thickness: Allow for the panel and sealing washer when checking the available thread engagement.
- Installation space: Leave room for the gland body and tightening tools, particularly where cable entries are close together.
