PG Nylon Cable Glands: PG7–PG63 Size Chart
Standard PG nylon cable glands for electrical panels, junction boxes and machinery enclosures. Compare PG7–PG63 dimensions and cable ranges below to select the configuration for your installation.
- Material: PA66 nylon body with an NBR rubber sealing insert in every gland.
- Thread sizes: PG7–PG63. PG numbers identify thread sizes, not cable diameters.
- Cable range: 2–52 mm across the listed configurations; use the range shown for the selected row.
- Standard supply: Cable gland with sealing insert and locknut.
- Protection: IP55 without a flat gasket; IP68 with the specified flat sealing washer and correct installation.
- Flat sealing washer: Not included as standard. Specify it if required.
Selecting a PG Nylon Cable Gland
The SC-PG series includes PG7, PG9, PG11, PG13.5, PG16, PG19, PG21, PG25, PG29, PG36, PG42, PG48 and PG63. Select the PG thread size to match the enclosure entry, then choose the cable range using the finished cable outside diameter.
For a replacement, check the existing gland marking or enclosure drawing before ordering. Do not select a PG size by its number alone. The table lists the actual thread outside diameter, mounting hole, thread length and maximum panel thickness for each configuration.

Specify both the model and cable range when ordering. For example, SC-PG13.5 is listed with 6–12 mm and 5–9 mm cable ranges; select the row that covers the actual cable outside diameter. The mounting hole dimensions apply to unthreaded panel openings.

Check Panel Thickness and Installation Space
- Panel thickness: Compare the enclosure wall with the maximum panel thickness listed for the selected row.
- Thread length: Allow for any sealing washer and the thread engagement needed to secure the gland.
- Tool access: Check the listed wrench sizes and leave room to tighten the gland and locknut between adjacent cable entries.
